Update on the Karantina Slaughterhouse Report

Originally published on Hummus For Thought on July 20th 2012.

We have finished the report on the Karantina Slaughterhouse and are currently finishing translating it into Arabic, French and Armenian. We are about 10 active students who are dedicated to seeing a concrete change happening in the Karantina Slaughterhouse. That being said, we decided not to publish it before September when the University Fall Semester starts.

We do not want to start something and not be able to continue it. Most of us are traveling when our Summer Semester ends (which is in 10 days) and won’t be available for questions, press conferences and petition distributions. We will all be available starting September the 21st which is the date around which we will officially start the campaign to renovate the Karantina Slaughterhouse. In the mean time, we hope that you will watch the videos and photographs we released and my own eye-witness account of what goes on there and spread the word. They are available here.
